I take a philosophical approach to filmmaking, beginning with finding patterns and connections between human experiences across time and space. My inspiration comes from the urge to have an emotion, injustice, or experience expressed visually when it has yet to be communicated accurately (either by myself or across media as a whole). It's about finding new ways to tell stories that force viewers to think outside the status quo.

I enjoy working with non-linear narratives, music and sound design, and magic realism to deepen storytelling beyond the surface level. This creates an experience for viewers that is both emotional and cerebral.
